Splunk Architect/Developer
Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customers from increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age.
We are looking for a Splunk Architect/Developer to support an exciting new, long term contract supporting one of our federal customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Defining and onboarding new data sources into Splunk
- Analyzing the data for anomalies and trends
- Creating new dashboards and enhancing old ones
- Mining and highlighting key trends and patterns in data.
- Proficiency within a Linux environment, editing and maintaining Splunk configurations
- Installing and updating Splunk agents and apps.
- Administration of Splunk environment consisting of search heads, indexers, deployers, deployment servers, universal forwarders, clustering and Splunk IT Service Intelligence for access, performance, and operational roles.
- As part of the Splunk team, interact with end users/teams to gather requirements, perform troubleshooting, and aid with the creation of Splunk search queries and dashboards.
- Interact with management and provide reports as necessary
- Thought leadership to lead and guide a team of 3-5 engineers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 7 years of experience with Splunk operations and maintenance including 3 or more years of Splunk IT Service Intelligence
- Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
- Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision
- Ability to script in one more of the following computer languages Python, Bash, Visual Basic or PowerShell
- Splunk Certification
- Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Current or former completed Splunk training
- Experience in automating Splunk Deployments, backups and upgrades
- Experience in Linux environment.
