TDI is seeking a Senior Splunk Architect to lead end-to-end Splunk ITSI implementations, translating business objectives and architecture into scalable, enterprise observability solutions. This role requires deep ITSI expertise, hands-on leadership in guiding delivery, and the ability to bridge stakeholders and technical teams to drive efficient, full lifecycle execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
TDI is seeking a Senior Splunk Architect to lead end-to-end Splunk ITSI implementations, translating business objectives and architecture into scalable, enterprise observability solutions. This role requires deep ITSI expertise, hands-on leadership in guiding delivery, and the ability to bridge stakeholders and technical teams to drive efficient, full lifecycle execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate at both strategic and tactical levels, translating high-level architecture and business objectives into actionable technical tasks, with end-to-end ownership from design through delivery
- Design scalable, enterprise-level ITSI architectures aligned to business services and outcomes, with experience across full lifecycle ITSI implementations
- Apply deep Splunk ITSI expertise in service modeling, KPI design, event analytics, Episode Review, glass tables, and visualization
- Leverage strong AIOps and event correlation knowledge, with experience integrating with OBM, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
- Utilize strong Splunk platform fundamentals, including SPL, data strategy, and performance considerations
- Must be willing to obtain and pass an IRS MBI
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience with Splunk operations, including end-to-end IT Service Intelligence implementations
- Break architecture into phases, epics, workstreams, user stories, and technical tasks, defining clear implementation steps for developers
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, review, and validate developer outputs
- Sequence work across data onboarding, normalization, services, and KPIs, while identifying dependencies and driving efficient delivery
- Balance best practices with practical implementation constraints
- Lead workshops and requirements gathering, communicates complex technical concepts in business terms, and act as a translator between stakeholders and technical teams
- OBM and ITSI experience
- Federal or large enterprise environment experience
- Consulting or advisory background
