The Operational Technology (OT) Asset Visibility and Security Engineer will be implement USPS cybersecurity strategies protecting the digital network, connected assets, hosted applications and data, and employees within the Operational Technology (OT) environment supporting critical USPS mail and package handling systems. Role is also responsible for continuing development and curation of proprietary database system managing asset details of proprietary systems leveraged by automation for identifying assets observed within the environment.
This position requires 100% onsite support at customer site in Merrifield, VA. Must be a USC to support the Federal government.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordination and workload balancing of the team, facilitating, and ensuring appropriate technical decisions are made to support fulfillment of Postal goals and objectives in required timelines.
- Work closely between the technical team, Postal leadership and architecture and strategy teams to ensure engineered solutions meet all functional and architectural requirements
- Candidates must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment including 8+ years of OT security experience and application of asset visibility solutions towards OT hardware and software asset management security efforts supporting both OT operations and security efforts including network access control, USB attached device control, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support.
- Candidates must also have accredited and relevant college degree (computer science, information systems, etc) or congruent work experience.
- Candidates must also have documented enterprise-based experience as a Forescout CounterAct administrator, and Forescout Engineering certification.
- Candidates must have documented experience implementing and maintaining proprietary database instances and leveraging them for automation purposes.
- Specific technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as Forescout, Armis Centrix, Splunk use and knowledge object development, Windows and Linux system administration, Database design and implementation.
- Candidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH), strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans; strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders.
