We are looking for a Senior Systems Architect to support a non-profit organization based in Boston, MA who mission is to honor our Veterans by providing healthcare and housing services to them and their families. The organization operates a complex payer technology ecosystem supporting government-aligned and commercial health programs. The Sr Systems Architect will provide leadership, ensure secure and compliant systems integrations and support modernization initiatives involving systems that process, store or transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
The position will offer a hybrid commute with the ability to support a Washington, DC office location attending in person meetings as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sr Systems Architect will provide leadership, ensure secure and compliant systems integrations and support modernization initiatives involving systems that process, store or transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead architecture design for complex, multi-system integrations across enterprise payer platforms
- Participate in governance forums: Architectural Review Board (ARB), security and compliance reviews and Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Define and document current-state, transitional and target start architecture
- Architectural support of payer systems such as: claims processing, enrollment and eligibility platforms, Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) integrations, CRM and call center platforms and care/case management systems
- Design secure integrations patterns (API's, middleware, EDI batch and event driven)
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, interoperability requirements, scalability and resiliency objectives
- Provide Executive and governance briefing materials
- Bachelors Degree with 12+ years of enterprise IT experience
- Demonstrated experience designed complex, multi-systems integrations
- Experience in healthcare or health plan/payer environments
- Knowledge of CMMC level 2/NIST 800-171 regulations
- Experience supporting systems handling CUI
- Strong understanding of API's, EDI, middleware, batch and data exchange patterns
- DoD, TRICARE or government aligned healthcare experience
- CMMC readiness or assessment support
- Healthcare EDI experience (834,837,835,270/271)
